DM&J Waste recycles scrap metal, wood waste, brick and concrete, shingles and single sort recycling which includes plastics, tin cans, glass, paper and cardboard. Scrap metal is sent for shredding and then reuse, wood waste is ground and used as bio fuel, brick and concrete is used for local construction projects, shingles are ground and reused in asphalt, and single sort recyclables are sent to a facility that sorts the material mechanically, bails the sorted materials and then sells the bailed materials to recycling markets.
DM&J Waste seeks to recycling materials which are feasible to do so from its construction debris. Markets for recyclables change and can become volatile. DM&J Waste stays on top of these market changes and is always looking for new markets for recyclables.
